In 1977 Cattle Rancher John Roberts started AAA Robert’s Remodeling & Roofing at 27 years old with his entrepreneurial spirit, ambition, and Ford F-250. Servicing San Marcos and the surrounding Texas hill country, word of mouth soon spread about John’s impeccable work ethic and fair pricing. In short time he expanded to two crews and was laying down roots in the local community, raising his two children.
The 90’s housing decline caused John to make some tough decisions. His strategy would be to pivot away from the declining remodeling market and rebranding as AAA Roofing. His strategy worked as it allowed him to foster his relationships with Central Texas homeowners which would continue to expand well into the new millennium.
The mid 2000’s put John on his back foot with a battle and victory over cancer however the time in treatment put his projects on hold, which caused a decline in business. Through these trials he was able to recover both his body and
business and by 2015 had enough clients to bring on his son Elliot to start
learning the immeasurable value of becoming a homeowners “Roof Guy”. By 2019 Elliot had applied those skills and was made a managing business partner. He also expanded the business to include gutter work because “you don’t sell shoes without the laces”.
Today AAA Roofing and Gutters continues to be a consistent and trustworthy pillar of the Central Texas community. Elliot is eager to modernize and ease the painful process of roofing repairs and replacements. Being dedicated to standing behind (or in our case “on”) one’s work is what has set AAA Roofing and Gutters apart and allowed us to thrive for or over 46 years. John and Elliot would be privileged and honored to become your “roof guys''.
